Default 1ST ANNUAL KAWASAKI RIDERS WEEKEND RIDE.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EVERYONE IS WELCOME
ok listen up here is what we have planned,we have booked a large dorm room style accomadation block that is divided up into 4 rooms i think & sleeps 20 people all up & @$18 a head thats not bad for even the tightest of a55e55,there is also individual accom by way of cabins that can be booked but it is a first in best dressed deal but if ya miss out on a room then there`s plenty of space to throw up a tent or swag if you need to.Its a bit hard to work out how many beds are needed but im sure if it rains or something then there wil be room for the campers pampers to bunk down in the dorm!what we need now is to list our bookings here in a numbered fashion ie 1-20 + campers.I`ll start another thread for "BOOKINGS ONLY" no posting in bookings only thread accept for bookings, all questions are to be directed to matt "easyrider" james "madcow" or wayne "wgash1" ok so dont be a tool & post or we`ll give you a booking next to madcow who is a notorious farter!!.If anybody can help we need a support vehicle from the melbourne end otherwise you guys are on your own as this is NOT an organised ride & we wont be held resposible for anyone crashing, being killed, injured, stabbed, robbed, or any other misadventure along the way or during the weekend!!.As said before there will be 2 groups converging on the caravan park 1 from the north that james has organised a support car for so we need one from melbourne side as well. The booking is from saturday morning {but i will be getting there on the friday if you want to come a bit early!.
remember november the 7th & 8th thornton caravan park book early
leaving healesville 10.00am sharp or find ya own way
northern riders meeting @ euroa 10.00am sharp
we will all meet up at alexandra to ride into thornton as a group!!!

the cornerman system will be used so if you want to ride at you own pace then leave early!!!!

individual bookings can be made here http://www.totaltravel.com.au/link.asp?fid=518776

if you can supply a support veihcle for the southern riders please contact madcow via pm to organise requirements. it would be a great way for the wife, or mate that dosent ride to enjoy the weekend as well.

nah they are one in the same, its a great place that i am acctually going to take my familiy to as well, the fishing is great & there`s plenty of room for us to let our hair down. Both times i have been on riders with members from this forum or had meet ups its been the same...we do the meet & greet thing then we talk bikes & the conversations just go on & on & on which is why i joined this forum in the first place,to talk with other riders with the same or similar bikes & to share my experiences so as soon as i seen that dorm room with a huge fire place out the front, rolling green paddocks out the back & a beautiful river flowing right through the whole lot i thought this place is going to make for a perfect weekend...............i really want everyone to come, this ride has the potential to be one of the great rides/rallys that will stick in your memory forever!!!!

I could not agree more with Easy on this, went on my first ride with this group to check this place out. We had heaps we want to do but the time literally disappeared. Lpts of laughs with great company. The location looks brillant, any body who attends will not be disappopinted. All will be welcome.

yeah but you guys are seasoned riders with lots of k`s under your belts,we want to try & get as many as we can on this ride young/old expirenced/women/new riders {not in that order though hahalol}the whole lot,so we are just trying to accomadate for not only breakdowns but small off`s etc,i know it seems a bit over the top but if we give as much support as we can then maybe some of these regulars that post in here will feel confident about coming along as they know they wont be stranded somewhere & get left on their own! Its just a bit of peice of mind for people i recon, but if no body puts their hand up we can always run the northern support car down to melb,we decided on bringing one from up there so we could bring wood/supplies etc as it would be expensive to buy there.
I have also decided i will be going on the thursday to have a bit of a holiday{ i dont get many, actually i havent had 1 for 6 years}so if any one wants to get there early just pm me and we can book you in!!!
