Mike,
Where are you starting from - a basically original bike or one that needs a major rebuild?
Are you aiming for original condition or getting it roadworthy again?
If you haven't already, find a parts book for the Z1000 - Z Power UK produces useable books for part numbers. There are probably others around.
For parts try Ebay, Z1 Enterprises (US), Z Power (Aus/UK), Bike Bandit (US), Partzilla (US) and heaps of others if you do a Google search. Whether you want s/hand, NOS, OEM or pattern parts, there is a range of options. Shipping is expensive from the US and Europe.
This is a good business for Kwaka parts, based in Tasmania http://z1spares.com.au
Cheers.

Hi Mike,
There's a local guy in Roleystone that's got access to good quality parts from Z1 - Z1000 Mk2, check this site out http://z1shop.com.au or email steve@z1shop.com.au
I found that although a bit expensive they are really good quality as he source's parts from Japan from some OEM.
Cheers.
