    I find it quite disgusting too. But hasn't Pluto been found to be a non-planet?

    My suggestion is to get whatever hearing aid benefits your hearing the best. But take them out when you are riding, don't wear them under your helmet. That way you will be comfortable. Put them in when you take your helmet off. Also, your sweat will cause the hearing aids to fail in a short time, so anything worn inside your helmet will break down quickly.

    They're not hearing aids as such but I wear ear plugs whenever I ride. The ones that look like little umbrellas on a stick ....
    I also wear them swimming.
    Give them a little lick before hand and they slide right on in there.
    Lessens the noise factor (wind and motor) by about 50%.
    Kinda weird but you can hear different things happening in the engine when wearing them.
    2 cents.
    I like days where I have nothing to do and all day to do it.
