    Default Zx-9r headlight problems

My neighbour across the road has a zx9r and currently the head light has stopped working, bulb is fine, apparently the fuses are fine, however the horn does not work either, will test if power is getting to it tomorrow haven't got my multimeter on me tonight. However if any one has any suggestions on to why it is not working would be muchly appreciated.

    Cheers

Hi There, its the black box relays...you can either hard wire and put a seperate switch in
or buy a black box from england on ebay. why england? their alot cheaper/
I had a zx7r with the same problem
some times the starter relay that starts the fuel pump .is in the black box
that3 3 things that can fail.
3 ok I can include the fan thermo switch it can be manually over ridden
.i wire from a battery to switch and through the switch to 1 pin on the thermo switch.
hope you can solve the problems..

If you hard-wire something that had a relay, put in a separate inline relay.
Easy and cheap to do and remember there was a relay there for a reason.

Horn not working? Its a Kawasaki! That was the explanation throughout the eighties. . .
