    Default Blues Rally 2014

I had a great time at the Blues Rally with some very hospitable humans.
Was a bit pissed that it was so close to home so when I left I headed to Warwick for brekky and down to Laidley for morning tea, via Ma Ma Creek.

    Our Home for the weekend

    Camp at night

    Bar at night

The best part of buying a $12 pizza

Adrian bought this flaming kite thingy, flew well into the night sky

    Bikes in the morning

The Show and Shine, which we didn't win, but had to spend all day waiting for an outcome from the judges.
We got to move them just as a storm broke

These blokes had trouble finding the line.

The place was packed, and the river the storm created ran pretty much through the middle of the campground.

Thanks to all who came and to the random Honda Guy that we adopted.

As we where not at the Show and Shine awards due to to the thunderstorm that was also happening at the time, I missed on picking up a trophy for best Cruiser.
This is the tale of how I found the prize.

Was a tale and a half from the girl that tracked me down, here goes.
Michelle had the trophy as the prizes where awarded as the storm hit, so we weren't there.
She got on face book to ask who had won the award with the name 'DAVIS' and a rego number.
No replies, but the girl that was taking PRO pics of the Rally had her pics on FB.
Michelle then zoomed in on every red bike that she could see with a rego plate, and found our camp site.
Fairy then contacted her to say she knew of me and so the phone tracking started.
Fairy contacted me and i gave her my # and she passed it on to Michelle who rang me several times without luck.
Finally a text was sent, which I got and so I went for a 150k ride to pick up my award, and here it is.

So this is what you get if you rub your big red one the right way.
    Regards
    John
