Is anybody going to the Motorcycle & Scooter show this weekend at Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour? I'm going Saturday Afternoon.
Cheers, stay safe and do it now or you'll be that much older when you do, and if it feels good - do it

If anyone is in the Tamworth area this might be worth a visit. http://www.northerndailyleader.com.a...-shine/?cs=159 Short notice I know but I only saw it in the online paper today. A pity I cannot go.

    Cheers and Beers.

Had a quick chat with him, as he signed a Touratech catalogue ("The Bible" as he calls it) for me. And it was hard to know where to look, every time I sat on a bike something else shiny would catch my eye. That Panigale was far too comfortable though, I just need to find $40K now...

I enjoyed the Expo, had a really good look at a number of bikes, sat on lots, which has convinced me even more that I bought the right bike for me. I was a bit gobsmacked at the price on some like the EBR and the Bimota. I can't understand the big price difference when they can't possibly be that much better than my baby. Heard a rumour that Ducati are having problems with the new 1199 motors blowing up, but I don't know it that's true or salesman trying to steer me away form a competitor. I was also a bit dissapointed that there were a few things I wanted to research and couldn't. I didn't see any of the tyre manufacturers at the show, I was hoping to pick their brains for some new tyres for my baby. And While the Kawasaki stand was quite impressive, they didn't have the new Z1000 yet. They told me there were none in the country yet and I had been hoping to get a good look at one. Also it turend out that I knew more about the new model from research on the web, than the Kawasaki guys on the stand. They couldn't even tell me when the first shipments come into the country. Oh well, I still had a great time, saw lots of shinny bling and got a few ideas. I even met Boris from AMCN, so I got him to sign my magazine.

Went on the Saturday and had a great time trying some bikes on for size. There were some truly stunning beaties down there, but the one that caught my eye the most was the Aprilia Capanord. Sports tourer which every bike journalist is raving about at the moment. Touring comfort (and then some) and sports bike performance.

That is going to be my next bike. The seat alone was worth the asking price, I've never felt anything quite so comfortable.
