    well after having just brought a new bike i can tell you the only place you can see where they tryed to save$$ was the seat!........the rest of the bike is as good as its ever been in fact i would go as far as to say its better!

    If ya gonna buy a new 2fiddy kwaka (2010-11) then ur gonna do a fair chunk of ur nuts on resell value with this new price drop.
    This should now drop alot of other older 2fiddys as now u can get a fresh bike even cheaper. Never see the point in buying a strait of the shelf bike if ur gonna upgrade in 12 months

    I bought one brand new for reliability purposes. Didn't want a used one incase it was thrashed previously. And being my first bike, wanted something special lol.
    If I do end up trading it in once I get my full licence, will be interesting to see how much they'll give me for it.

    You're not AS FAR behind the eight ball as you might think.

    Yes, your resale has dropped, but so has your upgrade cost. In practice you are probably slightly in front overall, just not as much as someone who buys post price drop.

    So true. Probably best thing to do is ask different dealerships for a trade in price.
