Angry new meanie on block pics trying again

Last time lucky. Whoa, I think I did it.
Thanks Mean1. The files did need resizing.
Note the tropical lush background. Nice warm weather....all year....mmmmm.
Don't know how you guys handle those brass monkey winters down there in Vic.

"WoW" you did it , nice Meanie you got there . i havent seen many blazing orange pearl Meanie's here in OZ , also i'm interested in knowing . did you fit a pod filter to your exsisting air kit , i'm guessing you attached the pod filter to the OEM black breather pipe ?

Yeah the orange pearl is almighty in the blazing sunshine.
A bit of history: I bought the bike site unseen from a guy in Canberra. It was a bit of a worry as Ive never done anything like that before but I had the dealer service history and the assurance that although it was already modified somewhat on the outside, nothing was touched on the inside.
So it came to me with the Vance Hines straighshots, air pod (and yes the 3 inch induction pipe sits straight on the black breather), custom mirrors with indicators, bullet rear indicators, clear tail light etc.
The other add ons I did myself. The sissy bar came off my VN 800 and with a little gentle persuasion and some more gentle persuasion I managed to install it somehow or other. The slant saddle bags also came off the 800 and they just slung into place. I wasn't going to spend more money on these things if I didn't have to and I didn't have to. Everything went on ok, without even a hint of Murphys law...for a change.
The stock pillion is about as useless as you can get (looks pretty good though) and so I moulded up a fiberglass base with hidden clips for attaching to the stock pillion seat and then took it down to the local upholsterer. $80 later and presto... Now have a you beaut clip on anytime comfy seat for the Missus. Same deal with the radiator cover. My one and only gripe with the Streak is the pissweak stock radiator guard. With not a lot of fender protection it wasn't long before the radiator was getting regularly stoned and it wouldn't have been long before it was totally trashed. Any one else out there having that problem? Anyway, off to the local sheetmetalworker and a week later I had all the protection I needed...One highly polished stainless steel custom radiator cover guard...only $90 and problem forever solved. If you go to a sheetmetal worker you can design your own look. They can do just about anything and its much cheaper than those (with the big daggy K in them) off the shelf ones. I highly recomend this for all you Streak owners out there.
Anyway thats' about it in more than a nutshell.
Only thing left to do now is go for a ride I guess.

    Awesome thanks for sharing!

I really like that sissy bar especially for a big sissy like me ....

Maybe if I ask Madcow nicely? He might put one on his bike for me ...
