New 250 Rider
Hey guys how's it all going, new to the forums so thought I'd say hi.
Just about ready to start looking for my first 250r!
Got my test booked for the end of the month so thought it would be a good time to start looking for a good deal and maybe even get it shipped so I stare and dream at it every morning and day after work haha
Plenty of good info around here especially the in the good deals thread but one question I thought I'd ask is am I still able to get a green 250 r or 250rse?
Seems as though every website (Australian) I goto doesn't list them with the option for green anymore?
Will ring when I get home from my working trip at the end of the week but thought I'd get the ball rolling now!

We still get a green SE (not sure if it is called Se) Its not like the earlier colours. Its more like a GPX/GPZ style of colours. I don't personally like it to be honest. Its a white checker style thing. This is a link to it on Kawasaki.com

Well I'd love a green standard 250r just all in the one colour, I agree Locksmiff I'm not too much of a fan of the Special Edition but I've had my heart set on a green Kawasaki Ninja ever since I saw one and I'd be gutted if I couldn't get one!
I'm a NSW boy so I'm thinking of getting it at BikeBiz in Parramatta unless there are good deals on shipping around Australia?

Cheers guys! Nah haven't tried the bike on yet doing that as soon as I get back to Sydney but after having a bit of a read and look around (For the last few hours) looks like I might have to have a 2009 model if I want it to look the way I'd want it to.
Not too fussed on performance for my first, just get through without dropping it too many times will make me a a very happy rider for the next few years of owning her.
Will get back to you guys and will look forward to a cruise or two when I get comfortable on two wheel on tarmac haha!
no trey. you dont drop bikes it hurts. you will be very comfortable when you get it as you will be riding it eveywhere and practice make perfect.
Yeh I was only joshing. I think my life will end if I ever see a scratch on my bike let alone drop her haha!
Riden afew times before but dirt bikes on my mates property so see how I go on roads!
And don't you worry about that I'm planning on riding it everywhere can't think of using any other mode of transport!
If worse comes to worse and you can't find a green bike I can paint yours at cost, I'm not a qualified painter but I've been doing it for a few years.
