Hi oz. Are you still on this forum?
I bought a ga5a recently..It's in fairly good condition but I do have some issues to address. I see you have or had one also.
First the highlight Will cause the engine to die unless it's above about quarter throttle.
Second, it's seized twice when attempting a top speed run. Luckily this wasn't catastrophic and it restarted. But having the engine jam at 100kms isn't fun.
Third, is there anything in particular I should keep an eye on or check on this model. Is the rotary valve with inspecting or are they trouble free. If the seizing is am air leak problem are the valve seals suspect?
The engine had been rebored recently by previous owner so it's 1mm oversize.

I understand you can't diagnose from afar so just after any wisdom at all.
