Howdy all. Need replacement for the rear tyre on the 1600 classic, 170/70/16. Did kawasaki upset all the tyre manufacturers , or is bridgestone partly owned by kawasaki. NO Blinking choice but bridgestone for rears, what the chop is going on. Who has got a non bridgestone rear on the cruiser and...

Howdy all, I picked up my new Nomad last weekend and have only done about 300K's so far. I'm not 100% sold on it yet. It feels flat in acceleration and vibrates much more than my "old" C50. Would be interested in others opinion if they've got one. I'm planning on waiting 'til its 1k service before...

Not sure if this section is appropriate, but here goes - I'm curious to know if there are any bike builders in the Brisbane area on the forum. I would someday like to build my own bobber starting with frame fabrication and then create the rest from parts scavenged at swap meets and wreckers...
Hi, I purchased a Vulcan 1700 Classic with the intention of doing some major touring. I thought I would show you my first major addition in my preparation. These bags may not be consistent with the cruiser/bagger genre but they are function over form. I wanted luggage that had three major...

Hi All, I'm thinking of upgrading the standard globe to something like the PIAA Powersports H Extreme White Plus Anti Vibration Bulb which is 65/55W and claims an output of 110/100W. Has anyone gone down this path and what were your findings ? Thanks :biggrin1:
Does anyone know if the Vulcan 1700 is dual fire or single fire ignition? And even, can anyone tell me what it actually means!?

Im a daily rider on the meanie to Melb (around 35km one way) and every morning I'm dreading it. My fingers are frozen - why cant that burning sensation be a warm burning sensation? I've tried better gloves but still no good. not much fun either when they're wet right through ...
Got the forks rebuilt today, new oil, stiffer springs and gold valve emulators. Only ridden a little way but it is brilliant, just need to play with damping on the rear shock to match it a bit better
After more than a year searching for stock pipes to put back on my VN900, a fellow forum member contacted me and now I have a stock set back on my bike in place of my V&H set. Some may think it strange to go back to stock, but while V&H pipes make a better sounding tune than the stockers I honestly...
