I'd tend to leave it at that.

General rule of thumb is it never ends, change this, affects that ect ect ect.

The never ending quest for more power is often fixed by a bigger bike : )

For example, you keep upping torque/horsepower till your box can no longer take it so now you modify that.

New carbys may prefer a different cam profile, the list goes on for ever. It's hard to know when/where to stop.

any ideas ?

buy a bigger bike

take a crap and a piss before you ride

in reality you can only get so much out of the motor and failing cams or a big bore then you arent going to get much

your next step is a weight loss program , yourself and the bike

IIRC its something like 4kg is equal to 1 HP

honestly you've done enough , stop right there. enjoy what you got for now , then when the time is right go buy a 600cc / 750 cc or even 1200cc bike . no modd you do to a 250 will bring it to even a hint of a ZX636 .

Step away from the angle grinder Matty.

The best performance mod you can do to your 250 is go and do a rider training course.

It's a relatively inexpensive mod and the best bit is that it follows you from bike to bike!

Once you've done that, start saving you pennies and buy a bigger bike when funds/licencing constraints allow!
