We got there early and it looked like this.

But it didn't take long to fill the car parks.

Some of them like to park out the front for a quick getaway...

and when they turned 'em loose I had time to take these, wander back to my bike and still get into the first half.

While they were pouring out of two gates there were still more coming in.

We had a look around but couldn't see anyone we knew. Even a text message didn't turn anyone up.

All those that count. The Tassie toy is the biggest in Aus.

Shelley, awesome piccies and looks like a great day was had by all. I've just returned from the Melbourne Toy Run and it was fantastic as well and thankfully the Melb fickle weather was kind to us with some lovely sun and a nice cool breeze. I will be planning a trip to Tassie soon as I love the Little Island and who knows we may bump into each other down there.

Thanks for sharing your day and Stay Safe and Upright :)

Judging from where you took your first pic, Shelly, I must have walked past you 3 times. And I think I rode by you when you were taking pics of everyone leaving. Did you notice a girl on a black/purple ZZR? Apparently, I was hard to miss because my exhaust is so loud.. or so my brother-in-law informed me on his oversized sewing machine or K100 as he likes to call it. Maybe we need to exchange mobile numbers in case we're both at a group event again.

I took a few pics but they don't show the sheer numbers of bikes. It was amazing. I especially loved the ride down from Launceston, there were bikes EVERYWHERE. Perth Roadhouse was packed with bikes lining both sides of the street, all the way through Perth. It was truly spectacular and I will be back again next year.:D

Did you notice a girl on a black/purple ZZR? Yep, about a dozen of them. I think there were two parked within ten spaces of my bike. We walked around both carparks several times too. We were both wearing t-shirts that said "I'm not speeding - I'm qualifying." :D

I only noticed two ZZRs and no ZZRs girls.. maybe I was just in the wrong carpark. I remember noticing those T-Shirts so I did see you. Although, I couldn't pick you out in a crowd again. :(

It was a great day though. I was so sore on the ride home though. 80kph sucks!

The girl parked next to us was on a zzr. I made HM ask them where they were from in case it was you. They were from the northwest though.
Whaddaya mean you couldn't pick me out in a crowd?
17 feet tall, long red hair ... :p

Now I feel bad that you were asking randoms if they were me. lol That'd be completely freaky though if I'd parked next to you out of everyone who turned up. I was riding with my brother-in-law and sister on his beemer, we were parked in the 2nd car park.

17 feet tall and long red hair - gotcha! I knew ZZRs were for tall people, I just had no idea HOW tall.

I'm pretty plain looking, average height and I was wearing a boring tshirt that said "vintage 82".. so I just looked like the 1000's of other people Zed900 missed out on seeing. :p Next time I'll wear something outlandish and introduce myself to every red head I can find. ;)
